Beginning as an apprentice to a Houston portrait photographer, I learned a great deal about how to photograph people. Following this apprenticeship, I worked for several magazines where I was encouraged to push the boundaries of my photography, both in style and content.
While at the magazines I also had the opportunity to observe the work of many excellent commercial and editorial photographers in Houston as well as shooters throughout Texas. After several years as an in-house editorial photographer, I began freelancing in Texas.
